My Story.

 

There are two designers in me; one strives to solve the small and often overlooked issues that hold products back from being truly great, and the other seeks to breathe creativity into every aspect of the world we interact with.

 

My love for travel and an interest in languages brought me to France where my passion for problem solving and creative thinking was put to use as a teacher. Communicating through a language barrier allowed me to hone my skills, connecting people of all ages and backgrounds to complex ideas through functional design. Integrating myself into a foreign community required an open mind and on the fly creative thinking, skills that serve me well today.

 

From an early age I sought out that unexplainable feeling that you get when something just ‘feels right’. I believe that I am no different than anyone else in that I am drawn to good design. What separates me and my work is my ability to articulate the specifics of that feeling and employ it in my designs. Designing outside the typical while remaining familiar and approachable is my biggest objective. 

 

My life has been a constant exposure to a range of backgrounds, personalities, upbringings, and points of view. I bring this empathy and approachability to my work with clients. There is nothing that cannot have a deeply engaging personality breathed into it through creative design and thinking outside the box. This is the framework that I bring to my projects.
